Service Description
Sumati Yoga is a way to de-stress and reconnect with Self through a combination of movement, meditation and pranayama. My main focus in the private sessions is Yin Yoga, but I am also happy to guide you through a dynamic Hatha style. The approach in trauma- informed sessions is centred around your healing, therefore it is not punitive, not strict and not goal-focused. Our sessions together will be aligned to your needs and wants with opportunities to grow beyond those when you feel the time is right. My Yoga education includes: • 200 hrs YTT Ashtanga (2012, India) • 300 hrs YTT including trauma-informed practice (2018, Thailand) • 20 hrs Biomedical Yoga Therapy for grief, loss and trauma (Australia) • 5 hrs Befriending your body: trauma-informed Yoga & Mental Health Practitioner’s training (Australia) Shorter sessions can be arranged as well, just email me.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or re-schedule please let us know as soon as possible. Preferably 24 hours before your appointment. That way someone else can benefit from that time slot.
